CHRISTOPHER PERRY
MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Christopher trained at The London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT), graduating with a Merit. During his time there, he worked with many West End directors and performers, participating in workshops and productions.

His professional stage credits include The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe (Palace Theatre, Southend-on-Sea), directed by Bruce James; Hope (Bridewell Theatre, London) directed by Graham Hubbard, City of Angels (Bridewell Theatre, London) directed by Graham Hubbard; and a production of Jonathan Harvey’s Boom Bang-A-Bang in London, which he produced and starred in.

Christopher is a Founder and Director of South Tyneside Academy of Musical Performance (STAMP), which he established in 2006. Since returning to South Tyneside from London in 2011, he has directed countless productions, including Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer, Thirteen The Musical, and numerous annual pantomimes for STAMP.

Most recently, he starred as ‘Joseph’ in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ with Astravaganza Entertainment, and is currently producing and directing STAMP’s upcoming production of ‘Seussical The Musical’.
